7:00 PM faceoff vs the much despised Buffalo Sabres. Going with a guy from work that is from Buffalo, so should be good fights in the stands as well as on ice. He is a graduate of Alfred State in NY if anyone knows about their program. Recap right here around 11ish, maybe some pictures, so be here or be squeer? lol.

I'm looking forward to their game against the okc Barons next Friday.
So we're heading downtown and call my ticket guy and he is at the world series of all places, so we have to go to plan B. There is always a cornucopia of scalpers prowling around the AAC during any event so we get there and start working them. We were about to pull the trigger on some nice seats on the platinum level for 60 bucks when a guy approached us who had 3 extras where he was sitting, because some of his party did not show up. Row B in the corner just to the left of the players bench and he'll give them up for $50 a piece!!
I must say this was my first Halloween game and it is probably just as good a time as the New Years Eve game atmosphere wise. It was a little empty because of the World Series and all, and I could only imagine what it would've been with all hands on deck. Excellent seats, excellent game and an excellent time regardless.

Was trying to get Brad Richards but he skates faster than the Blackberry can shoot.
Buffalos non-olympian goalie. They gave Ryan Miller the night off.
In all fairness we gave our starting goalie the night off as well.
Got the shutout 4-0 Stars!! Of course there was the "no goal" crowd in our midst, rumbling and grumbling about our ice and what not, yada friggin yada but pretty good sports all in all.
They were constantly announcing Ranger updates and had the entire final at-bat on the Jumbotron. There was quite the celebration when Feliz struck him out to end it.
If I had to, I would rate this in the top 5 of games that I have attended.

Yeah I ws gonna say something, but I figured after you woke up from the haze of the pick'em beat down you'd catch it:-P
Yeah, All we have is AHL, but that is better than the CHL we had. The AHL players are much bigger and faster. I've enjoyed the games a lot. Our seats are right on the glass and my kids already have a few pucks. They hit the net and slide down behind the glass. The pickem has been a tight race, but you did pull away a little last night.

Bout time they won one!!! Was a good game last night!! Hope to see a repeat of it for the next 3 games!! They will have to win the World Series at the rival ballpark but they can do it if they just believe in themselves. Go Rangers! :good:
All this baseball has me wanting to pop my DVDs in and watch the 2006 series again. At least I CAN watch it and breathe. Watching it live = I could barely stand it!!!! 😐

Be careful as you watch these last few games Dave. Do not let the baseball bug bite or you might just go buy yourself a Giants tee, ball and glove. Next thing ya know the skiis will be put up and you'll be playing catch with the grandkids or neighboring kids 😉
