wordsmiths: complete vs. finished

Heard this on Bortz this morning. He said he didn't know if it was true or not but it is dam funny.

At some word contest in Europe contestants were asked to describe the difference between "complete" and "finished".

Some feller from Guyana had the perfect succinct answer:

When a man finds the "right woman", he becomes complete.

And when the right one finds him with the wrong one, he's completely finished!

I thought that was great. Maybe there is still hope for me yet, I'm not yet completely finished! Then again, the day is young. 😀
