When an interception isn't really an interception

Anyone else watching the Hall of Fame football game tonight between Minnesota and Pittsburgh?

Quarterback throws the ball square into the receiver's bread basket and he let's it bounce back out a ways and sort of slaps at it as a defender grabs a hold of it and takes off running. So the opposing team now has the ball. About two plays later the exact same thing happens to the other team, so the first team has the ball back. Both quarterbacks get charged with an interception but they didn't do anything wrong.

QB shovel passes maybe 2 yards to his RB. RB runs 99 yards for TD. QB gets credit for 99 yard TD pass.
