One of my Colorado cousins lives a bit west of Woodland Park.?ÿ She and other family members love searching for caches that have been put out by other fans of this hobby.?ÿ Today, as she and her 60 year-old son were returning from finding a new one not far from their home they came upon this scene.

I have no details on what the cache they found looked like or what was in it.?ÿ Sometimes they are Army shell canisters or pipes or most anything that can be made watertight.?ÿ Inside there is commonly a notebook of some sort to write down the date and time and a few items of interest to those keeping that cache.?ÿ A common practice is to take some small trinket from the container but add one in its place.
The tent just happened to be close to the trail they were driving to return home.?ÿ They did not report seeing any humans while they stopped to watch the bear from their vehicle.
The second photo is what I call a Bigfoot shot.?ÿ In the distance, on the move, and a bit blurry.
