What has just happened over at LSU vs Tenn? The last few seconds was about as ugly as I've seen in a long time. Both teams imploded.

I was watching VT beat NC State... but I saw an ESPN highlight that showed that last couple of plays. Other than UT not being able to count to 11... or 12 for that matter (they had 13 on the field). LSU and Coach Miles in particular are fairly well known for having horrible late game clock management skills and demeanor... They are known for imploding in those pressure situations.

As a friend of mine put it: "Les Miles is probably the most hated coach of a 5-0 team in history". I think that is telling AND funny.

You should see them getting blasted on FB, it is kind of sad.

Les Miles should be fired Monday morning and 75% of the LSU fans on FB agree.

Only in the SEC could fans be calling for the school to fire a 5-0 coach.

LSU's AD was asking fans not to boo the team on National television.

Only coach hated more at LSU is Satan, I mean Saban, but Less Smiles is quickly catching up.

LSU almost lost to an unranked team in their home stadium, on national television!??!

Dan... We're (VT) almost as bad (neck and neck) in the late game clock management stupidity. It was shown at Boise State, James Madison, and a few games last year. A win is a win in my book, but you guys got burnt a few times last year by the late game stupidity didn't ya? Miles comes off as kinda "duh..." anyway. Not the most cerebral coach that I've seen...

We saw it ...
Both teams were out of "time outs" and those last plays SHOULD have been planned ahead of time ...:bad:

Tenn started substituting toward the end of the game and had too many guys on the field for the last play ... WHICH resulted in a penalty (1/2 distance to the goal) and gave LSU another first down ...
At least the Tenn couch admitted it was his fault ...

We didn't like Les when he was here in Oklahoma either ...

Like my avatar? 😉

The OC should have been fired last year. They need to send Crowton(sps) packing)with Miles holding his bags.
It is all coaching and not the players.
There is extreme confusion constantly from the opening whistle of the game...week after week.

A litany of BS as far as play calling and time management.
Why they needed to a call a time out after the play that got them to the red zone is pretty confusing to me.

JJ is constantly confused and Lee seemed completely PO'd and was yelling at the sidelines.
As for Saban, he runs a slick offense and defense almost NFL-like. Everyone is on the same page.
But I think the SC-Bama game may be an interesting game. Spurrier has the experience to engage a in a gambit with Sabin.
