Definitely. I've been looking at red dots for my AR. I've been leaning towards the EOTech XPS2 but I have heard good things about Aimpoint, Vortex and Burris sights too.

I have a Sightmark Ultra Shot QD. I like it a lot but the battery life stinks and they're hard to find. I looked at both the Vortex Sparc and Strikefire but went with the Sightmark.

I'm thinking about getting something with some magnification. I'd love to have a Trijicon ACOG but that's a little out of my price range and really not practical for a recreational use. LOL, it costs more than my AR.

I looked at the NcStar Mark III with a small reflex sight on the top but am not convinced of it's quality.
