This was our Saint Patricks Day Adventure....
I baby talked to Kitty and she came to me. She was scared, shivering, shaking like a leaf, all wet, and full of stickers.
I get her warm, dry, and pick out all stickers. She lets me. She scarfed down the wet food, then the dry food, and drank a bowl of water.
She has a microchip, but she is unregistered.
The original adopter never finished the process once they got her home. UGH!!
Vet also thinks she is a year old, if that. This makes sense because the original date on the mircochip is 11/18/2020.
I finally lost it at the vets and was crying my eyes out.
We asked around the neighborhood today, and no one knows where she belongs or is missing a black kitty.
We also blasted her story on every local Facebook page that has anything to do with lost pets, and on Next Door.
She's definitely made herself at home. She sleeps with us, follows us everywhere, and loves to cuddle and "bake bread" on my chest.
This is how we got our current 3.
No Name Yet. Can't decide between Lucky, or Slinky, Or Dusty or???
Here's a few photos of her.

Would you do the same for an old worn out surveyor lying on the road as well? ?????ÿ
Midnight.?ÿ Oops, I mean 1:00 a.m.?ÿ Maybe 1300.

Uh not here, it's still 11:00am, and has been for 3 days according to Mickey. (special thanks to Natester) ?????ÿ
And I would name the kitty "Snowball".
@flga-2-2?ÿ
You mean like the 400 lb. "Tiny" whose obituary I read today?
Or are you suggesting your neighborhood is in serious need of a very good cleaning up?
Wendell, my wife picked up a 6 wk old (estd) cat just down the road from our restaurant who even looked up with the same expression when I saw him at the vet later. ?ÿThe stories I could tell, but know that we named him Lucky! ?ÿOne of my fav cats of all time.
BTW he fought like a tiger against my wife picking him up. ?ÿGood thing he was little and injured, then.
I miss him 12 years on now, lost him to cancer in 2010.

Absolutely! I'd take them home, give them a nice warm meal, a fine glass of wine or beer, pie for dessert, then give them some clean clothes, prepare a warm bath for them, and have a towel warmed for them as they get out of the bath.
Oh wait...I use to do that for Wendell. ????ÿ

Awwww!!!! You and your wife were Lucky's hero! ???ÿ
I'm sorry he's gone. That's the WORSE part of animal ownership!! The day they have to go over the rainbow bridge. ????
I had my Ellie "Dee Dee" kitty for 15 years! Until last June when my EVIL ex-next door neighbors kept poisoning her. ????ÿ
The vets asked us what we wanted to call this cat? I said call her "Lucky" for now...because she was damn lucky that van didn't squish her!!! ???ª
She likes my cat bed in my office. ?

How about:
LOTI
?ÿ
Luck o' the Irish
?ÿ
just a thought....

Kitty cats owner came over a couple hours ago and picked her up. Her name is Nifa.
Apparently he brought Nifa with him to visit his friend around the corner from me.

This is what her sister did to her when she got home. hehehehe
YAY!!!!
Guess what cat we have again?! ????ª?
The previous owner messaged me on Monday as I am out and about dropping off donations to be sent to Ukraine.
He wanted to know if I wanted her back? He told me that they couldn't keep her anymore because the cat didn't like the newborn baby. Ok, fine. We'll come right over after donation drop off and pick her up.
When we got there, sheesh!!!!!!!!! House of chaos. Was a 3rd floor apartment. There were 2 every small, energetic dogs running wild and pestering kitty. She was cowering under the chair.
She saw me and came right to me, and I hugged her and she purred. Awww!
We brought her home and it was like she never left. My cats greeted her with open arms and purrs.
She's off to the vets tomorrow. Apparently this guy never got her immunizations after he adopted her and her sister. This was back in Oct. 2020! He also never updated the microchip showing him as the owner. I immediately contacted the microchip place and they approved me in 2 days for her microchip to be registered with us. ???¬
She still needs a name. Wendell calls her "Flicka" because she flicks her tail all over.
I call her Meep! Short for Meeper.
She answers to all of it. ???«
