Well...did you have fun??! I want to go see the Metallica Orchestra thing sometime. Very surprising coming from me cause I don't usually "rock out". I'm more of a Barry Manilow/Journey type of girl. =)

They were fantastic. Most of the audience were Depression babies; a really good audience.
Of course they did a bunch of Glenn Miller standards and they did some stuff Sinatra made famous. I think their current version of Tex Beneke seemed most comfortable with the Sinatra stuff although he did good with the Miller standards too.
It was really fun to see them. I've heard their music all my life because my parents had records but I've only heard about the antics of the trombones etc. It was fun to see that.
Wendell and I LOVE Sinatra!! He will BBQ while we have it playing, then we'll sit outside and have a glass of wine, singing "MY WAY!!!" (or whatever other song is on.) Frankie's music puts us in a good mellow mood. 🙂

Jason says he wants me to bring the CD into the office on Monday so he can hear "what it really sounds like."
I acted all hurt and said, "but you are hearing what it sounds like :("
He said, no he wants to hear it sung by a professional so I guess we'll be rocking out to Sinatra in the office on Monday.
Oh boy you are going to have him hooked on Sintara in no time then. :good:
