I'm sure some people use this service and enjoy it. I don't use it and I don't enjoy it. I've been getting voicemails two or three times a week for Robert Gardner for a year or more. This is the first one that has been transcribed into text, and badly it seems. I have replied to the sender a few times with no response. It's a minor inconvenience, but I wonder if Robert is even getting these messages. I also get messages for some George Gardner from Target regarding his account. Does Comcast give out the same address to multiple people or what?
Here's the transcribed message:
"Hi Megan, Nicky and Glen. We are just calling to wish you a wonderful trip and a happy wedding. I I don't think you left yet but be honest and he's growing up the leaving Dayton the wedding day and I'm all confused. So if you are you there I hope you're having an excellent package. I don't know I wish you a good trip if we don't find you and we will see you when you come home all, all of them show. Okay. Hope you're doing well. Talk to you later. Bye"

What does Comcast have to do with Vonage?
I get the Vonage voicemails in my Comcast Inbox addressed to my comcast email address. I guess I mixed and matched my complaints with the emails I get for George Gardner, that has nothing to do with Vonage, sorry for the confusion.
I received and kept for a long time a voice mail I received on my cell phone that I found very funny (wrong number). One day it disappeared which made me unhappy.
My voice mail outgoing message is very plain, This is Dave Karoly's phone, leave a message. So I don't know why people leave messages for all sorts of strange people including women who are definitely not Dave Karoly.
"This is Lenore. Don't EVER show your face around here again
if you do you're not my brother/mother anymore."
According to my daughter the above is the message (it's been a few years). I don't have a sister named Lenore and I am not the mother of anyone. We aren't sure if she said brother/mother. Don't ask me why she would leave that message on Dave Karoly's phone.
Two words: Drunk Dialing.
sorry Dave, that was me.. nothing personal!
