Want to get paid? Last year I started printing a preliminary copy of clients drawing with a PDF printer to email them, PrimoPDF is a great free one. I also PDF print the invoice and "append" the drawing PDF so when the client opens or prints the downloaded drawing they also get the bill! In the email I tell them I will USPS the signed/sealed drawing as soon as I get payment. Most of my headaches with clients not paying have gone away. I also offer to send Fed-Ex if THEY want to sent money to cover it.
