Part of that read was a user comment that raises the hair on the back of my neck. They said that keywords and searches are now being relayed back to Microsoft through W10 without permission - part of their new policy. Glad I still use W7P.

PS: Mapman I believe the privacy issue has been the main objection to Windows 10 from day one.
I don't think anybody has found a way to shut off the constant phone home to the mothership thing, other than physically unplugging.
they say when you are off line it stores the reports for upload next time you are logged in to the internet.

Even Win7 may not save you 🙁
Service Pack 1 and a number of the recommended or optional updates install much of the same "Telemetry and Data Collection ( aka spyware ) that is present in Win10.
