I just got my HUGE box of train stuff from about 30 years ago.
Wow! a LOT more stuff than I remember. Apparently baby brother kept it going after I moved away.
Gotta be better than 50' of track and at least a dozen unopened track switches.
Probably 20 or 30 assorted cars. Maybe a half-dozen building - two still unopened boxes. A couple of them came apart but with some model glue, I can put them back together. The freight station I distinctly remember.
10 engines in all. My two favorites appear to be in excellent shape. One is a 6-6 Illinois Central Gulf big diesel and the other is 4-4 blue and yellow C&O Chessie Ssytem diesel. The older 2-8-2 coal steamer has a bit of tarnish on the wheels. The others are various flavor of 60-70s era GE built diesels. I imagine I'm going to have take the drive trains apart on some and loosen them having sat in that dark, dank basement for all these decades.

I was going to say... where are the pictures. I have a box here that I really need to go through and setup for my boys.
