Sky cleared yesterday after a bout of rain. Everything looks happier in my yard and I could see the airplanes flying overhead. I can't remember the last time I just sat in the sun for thirty minutes just because it was there.?ÿ This morning, foggy.?ÿ Wife got up, looked outside and I can't remember her being so dejected. "Is the smoke back?"?ÿ No dear, it should burn off by noon. You don't joke about these things right now.?ÿ
Once again, the air is fresh and clean in Seattle:
Tonight the waning moon (for paden, last night was the full moon) and Mars are very close.
MOON-MARS CONJUNCTION: Don't miss this. Tonight, Oct. 2nd, the Harvest Moon and Mars are in conjunction, only ~2o part. The Moon is nearly full, and bright red Mars is only days away from its closest approach to Earth, making the conjunction extra bright and beautiful. The pair rise in the east at sunset and stay up all night long: sky map.
Gneiss view of the Moon and Mars right now!!?ÿ At least from Lakewood, CO.
One must have gneiss around in the first place in order to have a "gneiss view".?ÿ You qualify.?ÿ I don't.
