:'(

I've been in tears every episode since his stroke. *sniffles* This and next weeks episodes are going to be the hardest to watch.

Tonights is definitely going to have me bawling!! I was on the Discovery Channel & The Cornelia Marie website last night watching clips that they don't show on the air due to lack of time. Some are pretty hilarious! Some are very serious. One they don't show is the one of his son looking around for another skipper to man the boat. The son finds an old friend of his dads. It was a pretty good clip.

I am too. It hits me hard because Phil looks like my Dad and is as hard-headed too. The only thing Dad didn't do in his last two weeks was ask for a cigarette though. Phil with the ice chips was like Dad, and the dry raspy voice from the oxygen too.

I didn't really have a tissue issue with actual show, but the "After the Catch" show has hit me a little.

I don't know Carl. The end of it, when his son was on the phone... that was rough.

I know it sounds odd... but I took that same call about Dad, so maybe I'm a bit desensitized...

Ok..that was rough. The tears were flowing. Glad Wendell came to watch it with me. Next weeks will be another teary eyed one too; having to watch his buddies say good-bye. :u:

Two of his sons were on Jay Leno the other night talking about this episode.

We have boycotted Jay Leno's show over the way he and NBC treated Conan O'Brien.
