of the F-5 tornado that destroyed Joplin, MO back in the spring is evident in these pictures. I was cleaning some pics off of my iPhone and ran across these disturbing images.
The company I work for was contacted by the USACE about 2 weeks after the tornado went through Joplin to go out and work with them in developing some emergency housing sites for displaced victims. I spent about a month out there doing topo and design work. It is great to see all of the stories about the recovery of this place.

One must never ever underestimate the power of Mother Nature and her fury. 😐
