I posted last week about my 48GX, will not go into detail about how it went south as some of you may have just finished breakfast. Alas, that one will have to go to the shop, repeated attempts to clean it have been futile.
A suggestion was made about soaking it with rubbing alcohol then putting in a bag of rice to draw out the nasties. While it didn't work for that one I tried it with both a HP 33 and another 48GX and WALAAA!!!
Both are up and running, many thanks to JD Juelson for his excellent advice. Last week at the new job was a bit frustrating as I was using the phone ap 15C emulator for quick calcs, will be much better this week having a real calculator with clicky buttons.
Well, that and using a Sokkia SRX robot for the first time..... not a bad gun, just have become used to the 1103
