One of the more fascinating tours of an industrial facility that I have had the pleasure to receive was at the Stafford County Flour Mills in tiny Hudson, Kansas (population 129).?ÿ The year of my tour was 1986 so things have changed a great deal since then, all in a progressive way.?ÿ One thing that impressed me was the story of how their flour became so popular in West Virginia and surrounding states.?ÿ Most Kansans have never heard of this mill or their products.?ÿ Look for Hudson Cream Flour next time you are at the supermarket, especially if you are in the states mentioned in the following link.
