South Georgia, where I grew up, has been devastated twice in the last ten days by storms and tornados. FEMA has been dragging their feet from the first storm but now that have been hit again maybe they will get up and help. The last count I heard was 14 dead and dozens injured, but little or no coverage by the national media. Not political enough I guess.

Sorry to hear that your area is being hammered by tornados. Can't imagine that. I see the news reports and it all looks surreal to me.
We don't get much rain here, but this year we seem to be getting a decades worth. "Leo" is our current storm.
Take Care and stay low.
The one constant in life is the threat of what extreme weather can do to us. There never seems to be anywhere near enough help during the early stages of a weather disaster. Here's hoping things improve quickly.
I met some fine people from South Georgia last week, I hope they are all okay.
This past week When the temps here were in the 80s, I realized that somewhere to the northeast of us would be getting hit with severe weather
Friday evening that system moved through very late and we just caught an edge. So we are aware of the storms..
brought about by the very unseasonable temps.
Hope you and family are OK. The front that devastated you guyÛªs blew through Central Florida last night complete with a few tornados, hail, and rain by the bucketful, but nothing like hit yÛªall.
Positive thoughts and best wishes for yÛªall.
