I've got about a gazillion drawings, (OK, maybe just a zillion), on my Dell with Windows XP.

I would like to convert them or transfer them to something more modern, hardware- and software-wise.

Any ideas?

I'm not thrilled at my age to be spending thousands of dollars for new software.?ÿ I've got an H-P 64 bit desktop I use for all other purposes.

I'm open to any and all suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

What file format are the drawings?

I have many Western Digital external hard drives and assorted thumb drives for backup

My Book and Passport and Elements are excellent. So are the phone thumb drives at the bottom of the page.

I don't want to save them, I want to convert them to something more modern.

I have an external hard drive they are already on.

Bill, they are the original ".zak" extensions.
