Protesters: Don’t block our GPS signals!

Protesters are outside the Jackson Federal Building downtown this morning in support of GPS.
The Seattle protesters are joining those in other cities in to express concerns over a controversial application being considered by the FCC that would cause substantial interference for GPS users.
Protesters are not believed to be blocking traffic or causing any excess commotion at this time.

NYC traffic alert....UN Week
I went into Manhattan this morning to help a crew start a project.
Our guys had a hard time getting to a benchmark at Sixth Avenue and West 54th Street this morning because it was a mark set on the hotel where the president of Iran is staying. The police have a barricade of concrete blocks almost as big as my desk around the building. There had to be twenty five uniforms, plus numerous plainclothes and undercovers, plus the Iranians.
I mentioned this might not be a good day to shout "Bring up the gun!".......
