Growing up in Jefferson Parish, I attended Jefferson Jr. High and I ate those every day. Rotated between lemon, apple and cherry. They were a dime each in 1963. In high school (John Curtis Christian High School), I had to leave campus to get them, so I was reduced to only 2 a week. Great pies. I miss them here.
