Rye whiskey

Next time you are going to do a ham, get out the injector and load the ham up with a few shots of rye. Score the top and load on the cloves, brown sugar and honey. Slow cook it on the grill or in the oven and get ready for ham sandwiches that you will fight over.

Been drinking WT Rye (Green label & 101 Proof) for over 25 years. Old Overholt is my bottom end rye. Jim Beam Rye (Yellow Label) tastes soapy. To me it is rotgut.

I recently purchased some Knob Hill small batch rye. I haven't tried it yet. I will update all on how I rate it.B-)

I recently checked, and though difficult to find Wild Turkey Rye is still available.
