My favorite time of year to be outside, Saturday there was not a breath of wind, 50 degrees in the morning, perfect to take a ride up the hill.
On the way down, stopped to take some pics:
looking back up: made it to the end of the pavement without stopping, I would say it felt good but that would be a stretch:
Looking down, a lot less time getting back than going out.
The fire: been about 10 years now, hasn't changed much since the fire, you just don't get covered in soot anymore if you are in the area walking around:
sun still hadn't quite made it up to expose all the hills:
Probably get a few more weeks to enjoy the outdoors like this.
Awesome Moe, I have been to the CNFR in Casper Wyoming about 15 years back. We drove up on Casper Mountain in July and caught a few snowflakes.

Got snowed on over the 4th of july weekend as a teen camping, it was so bad the tent collasped and we (3 16-17yr old guys fishing) were stuck up there for a couple of extra days,,,,,,,dad's weren't too pleased being sent up to look for by the moms,,,,,met them on the way out. Can snow anytime, but 24" in July was a surprise,,,,,,,maybe the best fishing trip ever!!!!!!
