I got a chance to survey a lake lot about a quarter mile from where I grew up. I spent a lot of time fishing from several of the the docks in this cove. This is typical summer evening. The cold water from the bottom of Norris Lake flows downstream in the Clinch River in the background. The cold water and the warm humid air meet and most evenings when the wind is calm you'll get this layer of fog that rises off the river and slowly drifts into the surrounding coves and low fields. The clouds reflecting off the still water of the cove in the foreground was just an added bonus. If I had Kent's talent, I'd paint one of these and title it "God's Watercolors".

That's downright purty. Purty as a picher.

Thanks for sharing those. The splendor within which we allow ourselves to work can sometimes be breathtaking.

Beautiful pictures! As Kent has talent with paint and canvas, I dare say you have talent with a camera.

I've massacred my fair share of photos especially with cellphone cameras. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time on this occasion.
