Some good has come from reaction to the scandal.

So, a 10 year old child is raped, in the shower at their university, by one of their coaches, witnessed by another assistant, who did nothing, is covered up at many levels within the school system, and all they can raise is $400,000?
This is "something good"? Dude, a 10 year old child was raped.

I think that is "good" as compared to doing absolutely nothing, which was an option.
There is no action that can be taken by others to "correct" past misbehavior by someone else.

Is this supposed to be impressive? At the Nebraska game they raised $22,000. In a stadium with over 100,000 people.
Too little way too late!

It appears that "absolutely nothng" was done by a many key PSU folks and for many years.
But I do think that it is "good" as compared to someone making Sanduskey Dr. Ben Dover quips on the internet message boards while teacher-wife-mommy isn't looking.

It sounds like someone passed the hat around.
