Oregon in NCAA trouble ...

So, now a private "scout" named Will Lyles, who had a personal relationship with several top recruits, is saying that Oregon paid him $25,000 (much more than a normal scouting package fee), and he provided pretty much nothing in return. The NCAA is thinking he provided influence over the recruits in return. In fact, he's saying Oregon head coach Kelly asked him to cover-up that he provided nothing and ask Lyles to give them anything he had... so Lyles provided 2 year old information he plagiarized from other scouting services, mostly made up of players who had already signed with other schools two years ago... one was dead ...

Other schools, like LSU also made Payments to Lyles. It will be interesting to see if they can produce any substantive product he provided.
