I've been reading a little further on the board about your war episode a long time ago ... a lot of respect!
I live 20 km from Ypres, the battlefields of WW I, and surveying around these places is always special. We have these small and big cemetaries that are very well preserved and maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. I always try to take some time and visit these historical places, you're never alone there, there are almost always visitors.
