They have not proven they are worthy of a National Championship.
Hard to say if he is prejudiced, since he was President of an SEC school before coming to the Big 10.
One thing I see is that $18 million dollars divided up with all conference schools, says to some we can make more money by losing than winning. I don't mean they throw the game but they have very little incentive to do everything it takes to be able to win that game.
Whereas in the Big 10 and elsewhere teams would rather beat an 11-0 opponent just to show that they can, more money is not their concern.
I will render an example, Michigan State at 10-1 comes to Happy Valley this Saturday to take on 7-4 Penn State. Much as almost everyone would like to see 3 11-1 teams in the Big 10 there is one simple fact, Michigan State has never ever beaten a Joe Paterno team on his own field.
It will be a game to watch.

Boise State President Fires Back At Ohio State
Points out the few warm up games as if it were the whole season. Then he gets into the "Nobody will play us routine." In which he means home and home.
If Boise State is serious about a lot of big time colleges coming to play, then they need to step up with an 80,000 seat stadium, 10,000 tickets available to the visiting team and about 15,000 motel rooms.

Boise State President Fires Back At Ohio State
Seriously, who among the top teams wants to play in smurf stadium?
When a school spends all their money on a self incentive stadium that contradicts a traditional aspect of the game, do they deserve respect. Should they build a dome what will the inside ceiling be, maybe green as grass.
Don't fool with mother nature.........
Put these teams together in Bowl games and see what happens.
Will they deny that?
