This morning was the first chance I have had to see the damage from the tornadoes in Illinois and surrounding states. Honestly, I didn't know there was a Washington Illinois.
Being from the Gulf Coast area, we are somewhat accustomed to tornadoes in November but nothing like they have seen.
My thoughts and prayers go out to those involved. I hope nobody here was affected.

Local news last night ran a story on a young man who had been attending a nearby community college on a rodeo scholarship. He was killed somewhere in Michigan by a huge tree slamming down on his vehicle as he was driving down the road.
The guy defied death and major injury all the time as a bullrider. It took Mother Nature to stop him, permanently.
