I caught the tail end of something just now on the History Channel that I found disturbing. It sure the hell looked like some guys pretending to be NGS hunting for treasure. I don't know what the hell was going on, because I only caught the last 15 minutes of it. If you are out west in the pacific or mountain time zones, the show should be on the History channel again at 5 pm pacific time. I hope someone can catch this and tell me wtf is going on here. Something seemed wrong, fake, and bizarre.
Chaco Canyon?
I caught a documentary on the Anasazi and the Chaco Canyon ruins yesterday.
The astronomic alignments were just astounding, stretching over hundreds of miles, with ruins lined up with each other in solar, lunar and meridional alignments.
Apparently, they are the only civilization EVER to align structures to the 18.6 year cycle of the moon.
Speculation is that it would have taken several generations of observations to make that happen.
If I remember correctly, because I was distracted by the puppy, NOAA and/or NGS was doing GPS and T-2 observations to establish the alignments.
