Janice and I stayed home and had a new years dance at 10:30 to some Stevie Ray Vaughn, went to bed at 11

Black eyed peas, cabbage and pork chops and all of those traditional things for lunch.

Me and the dogs have the couch reserved for the rest of the day for some pretty good bowl games. Go TCU!!!

Sunny and a high around 70, I might get motivated to play nine holes this afternoon, but it looks like football and the couch will be my thing right now.

Worried about 2011 on the business end of things, been pretty tough for the last 2 years with 2 kids in college, but I am still in business and healthy, so that is a blessing.

Happy new years to you and yours.

Randy

As close to absolutely nothing as I can get away with.

I started the cabbage and and beef short ribs in the crock pot last night. My wife is doing a Black eyed peas, shrimp and sausage gumbo today. As much as I hate it, I'm going to go run a gps baseline on a 4 acre survey I need to get out. All is not bad thou. Starting the New Year out with work is good! I'll retire home this evening with a few Amber Bocks! Taking Randy advice I just might dance the night away with my wife.

We're going shopping!!! Wendell needs new shoes and I want to get my daughter a few things. With all of the sales going on we figured we might luck out. 🙂

black-eyed peas, sweet potatoes, potatoes, turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce

Not too bad for home cooking.
