I've kept my mouth shut, and something good has come of it...
PRESENTING:
SURVIVOR: Texas RTK
- Two extremely knowledgeable RTK surveyors from the Seattle area will kidnap a surveyor from Texas.
- Texas surveyor will be abandoned with a network RTK rover in BFE.
- The controller will contain only control points to be staked-out to and used as bread crumbs for a trail back to safety. All other functions will be disabled.
- Since this will take place during the hottest part of the summer, there will be small amounts of water available at each control point. Control points will be spaced so that reaching the next will be crucial to survival. Water will not be available until two 30 second observations have been completed (PRO TIP! Dump satellites and reinitialize after first occupation).
- Upon completion, EVERYONE WINS! Texas will have RTK data he has collected to compare against published control points that he typically uses to base all his other surveys off of. Everyone on this board will now have the satisfaction that he finally tried it. Wendell will not have to create a custom category titled Arguments with Kent.
