I took swmbo last week and it was really a rescue effort to get the pup.
Fur is still flying on this matter and I may post in the future of the outcome.

One of the most disappointing things I find is when a friend or acquaintance gets a pet, and it turns out they are going to a kennel or a breeder.
I like it better when they do a rescue.....good luck. This one looks like a keeper.

Read just yesterday about some psycologically-messed up lady in Pennsylvania who was a Rescuer. People from a little bit of everywhere sent their unwanted pets to her. The problem was that she had no means to provide for them. Apparently, within the past year, she had received over 17,000 animals and only found homes for 23 of them. Authorities discovered the most disgusting mass graves all over her property. Yet, she kept offering to rescue strangers' pets.
It is a very sad world in which we live sometimes. No animal should need to endure such treatment.
