2nd week in a row that the #1 team has fallen. Very interesting day in college football as I'm sure you followers of that already know. The Boise State debate will continue. No reason to belabor it here. Still, I'm always eager to hear the usual bullsh1te from the usual suspects.

Go Broncos, Kellen Moore for Heisman.

The ESPN pundits are predicting that Boise will be #1 today in the BCS polls. At this point then I think that is fair. It should be interesting to see the new polls. OU looked strong and is probably the favorite at this moment in the Big 12.

Pretty exciting day yesterday with Ohio State, Nebraska and South Carolina all going up in flames.

I truly did not see Texas winning that game but they sure rebounded well and the D was solid. I'm happy for the Horns but it will hurt the Big 12 in the polls.

Dang I love college football. So unpredictable from week to week.

I"m sure they would and they are justified as well thinking they should be #1. I think they will be #1 in all the other polls except the BCS at this point. Boise will start losing traction though with their strength of schedule so no worries for the others that also have a shot at the title game this year.

Next saturday may change everything again.

NCAA Football: AP Poll And My Predictions

AP Poll Top 25
RK Team W-L Points Prev Next Last
1 Oregon (39) 6-0 1471
2 Boise State (15) 6-0 1433
3 Oklahoma (3) 6-0 1355
4 TCU (3) 7-0 1340
5 Auburn 7-0 1279
6 LSU 7-0 1132
7 Alabama 6-1 1121
8 Michigan State 7-0 1062
9 Utah 6-0 1019
10 Wisconsin 6-1 920
11 Ohio State 6-1 895 1
12 Stanford 5-1 828
13 Iowa 5-1 768
14 Nebraska 5-1 684
15 Arizona 5-1 619
16 Florida State 6-1 615
17 Oklahoma State 6-0 575
18 Missouri 6-0 552
19 South Carolina 4-2 372
20 West Virginia 5-1 346
21 Arkansas 4-2 343
22 Texas 4-2 267
23 Virginia Tech 5-2 122
24 Mississippi State 5-2 111
25 Miami (FL) 4-2 85

My predictions for next week
1 Oklahoma if they beat 6-0 Missouri
2 TCU if they beat 5-2 Air Force
2 Missouri if they beat 6-0 Oklahoma
3 Auburn/LSU if they beat 7-0 LSU/Auburn
4 Oregon if they beat 3-3 UCLA
5 Michigan State if they beat 5-1 Northwestern
6 Boise State if they beat 3-4 Louisiana Tech

My 1 to 5s have all faced tougher competition than Boise State. In my opinion Boise State can win every game and should drop each week in the rankings except against Hawaii and Nevada. Just because no one appears on the schedule who is able to beat Boise State does not make the Smurfs the number one football team, it only makes them blue.

For Boise State o be Number One next week, seven of the teams that are 6-0 or 7-0 must lose, however 2 of the 7 will win no matter what.

In fact any team on the Top 25 list that finishes with only 1 loss is a better team than BS.

All Right Blake

WOW, Oklahoma is a light year ahead of number 2.

Michigan State looks a little light to pass Boise State next week even beating a 5-1 team, but I'll stick with 1 thru 4. If LSU beats Auburn, Boise State may only drop to number 4.
