Some pictures I took last Friday while on a weekend trip to north-central Nebraska.

A couple of weeks ago I was doing a topo of a field that hadn't been tended in a few years and was covered with knee-high weeds (much of which was bull thistle, unfortunately). It was mostly flat, but I noticed a small mound maybe 30' long, 15' wide and about 3' high. I wanted to locate it for yardage, so after running around the toe I climbed up to grab a couple of top shots and was nearly knocked over by a mama goose flying off her nest. After regaining my composure, I got the shots, snapped a couple of photos, and continued on my way.
