I am Cow, hear me moo
I weigh twice as much as you
And I look good on the barbecue
Yogurt, curd, cream cheese and butter's
Made from liquid from my udders
I am Cow, I am Cow, Hear me moo (moo)
I am Cow, eating grass
Methane gas comes out my a**
And out my muzzle when I belch
Oh, the ozone layer is thinner
From the outcome of my dinner
I am Cow, I am Cow, I've got gas
How poetic?! ?ÿHad no idea we had been so honored.
How poetic?!?ÿ?ÿ
Based on Karoly's posts about finding boots that fit - his feet are poetic, they're Longfellows.?ÿ
Back to the OP:
That ought to find the culprit(s).
The hijaks are awesome!
I *think* I fixed the gas leak. Put the mail order valve today, no gas detected. I'll go in there in a few minutes and light a match just to be sure 😉
it has been 15 minutes and no Dave. RIP
"Gas connectors should not be reused." never heard that one before. I have as many failures with new parts as reused parts... to each their own.
I too had a minor leak a few days ago, on a portable heater. There were two in the room as well as an unused wall heater and a kitchen stove... seldom used part of the home.
I tried the soapy water, on all, nothing. My wife (more patient) also tried it. It persisted (the faint smell) so I checked again and then the open flame.
It turned out that the valve on the tank (the new safety type) was faulty and leaked just enough to smell it, and just a flicker of ignition that I could only see when the room was darkened.
Yes this was very small. I couldn't smell it until a couple of hours accumulation.
Had extensive inspections on the new house today. Nothing unexpected, actually the dry rot issues are somewhat less than usual because the first floor is concrete with concrete block walls. Now we await the appraisal (that happened today too). Concrete house built in 1935. Structural pest found termites in the cellar which is a concrete box. That will be treated if we close escrow (pretty likely).
Congrats!
Down (and over) this way, there's regular messages on the radio calling for citizens to assist in the fight against termites by lighting fires after dark, which they say is when the termites fly (maybe they are talking about the breeding season) and they will be attracted to the light of the fire and incinerate themselves.

You could always buy a canary and hang the cage in the kitchen.?ÿ ??ÿ
Perhaps your sniffer is too sensitive. ?ÿMine barely works at all. ?ÿThat really helps in crowded elevators.

Yea especially if one of the "passengers" recently ate a Cheese, Onion, and refried bean Enchilada Casserole and washed down with a half dozen Deviled Eggs.?ÿ?ÿ ??ÿ
