I've had a topo job on the books for a couple of weeks that backs up to a local golf course but weather and other jobs kept conspiring against me. Finally today the schedule and weather cooperated. I knew that there was a tournament going on but I had a deadline so off I went.
It made for a relaxing day of work. I'd wait for a group to tee off then as they passed I'd run a few lines across the fairway before the next group moved to the tee box. Then I'd spectate for a while.
That big oak in the upper right corner of the picture stopped several drives today. The lucky ones bounced left and rolled back onto the fairway. A couple weren't so lucky.
