That's right; a movie named after our favorite former contributor here.
For those of you who have never heard of this movie, it is a story about a cute little teddy bear owned by an eight year-old boy with no friends. His owner wishes that Ted, his teddy bear, could come to life and be his friend forever. Golly, gee whiz, folks, it happens (or else it would have been a very short movie). Then, they shift to today, 27 years later and the little boy is now 35 year-old Mark Wahlberg who lives with his girlfriend, Mila Kunis, and Ted, of course.
Providing the voice of Ted is Seth McFarlane. Only naughty guys and gals recognize the name, Seth McFarlane. He is the insane creator of numerous animated TV shows such as Family Guy, American Dad and The Cleveland Show. His Family Guy show was once banned by the FCC for being too risque for television. That will give you a slight hint as to why he may now be banned from producing any more movies.
Imagine applying for a job and the interviewer asks you if you think you have what it takes. Watch what Ted says he has to his interviewer. I'm guessing this answer would not be one you would have used.
Ted mentions a parsnip, what he did with it, and how he dispensed of it. Again, not something most of you would have envisioned.
In summary, Ted is a very, very, very, very bad little bear. Watch the movie, if you dare. In fact, invite your Sunday School class to see it as a group.
Sounds like my kind of movie. I'll have to wait until it is broadcast on TV however as I am forbidden entry to our local movie house for an incident I had NOTHING to do with.
Have a great Sunday! B-)
Maybe in Europe
It will be a long time before you can hear every word that is said.
You had me at Mila Kunis...:good:
