There are two almost identical quotes in two different movies by two of my favorite actors. Can you guess the actor and the movie?

"By god, by god that's enough!" (hint: North Africa and a nose) too easy

"By god, that's enough! that's enough!" (hint: a ditch and a "Pea" with him)

after saying that, they fired at the enemy.

Is the second one from True Grit?

It sounds like Rooster Cogburn.

Dave,

the second one was a cowboy. But he was somewhere around the Montana/Wyoming border, stuck in a ditch. He had just shot his horse, in order to use it as a shield from the Indians who were persuing him.

The first guy was a general in his office (and had just taken command), and had a minute before received a promise from a British general that that would be no strafing by German fighters. He stood out in the road with his pistol, daring them to shoot at his nose.

Right.

The second guy had a sign which said: "we don't rent pigs!"

Sounds like Robert Duvall, Lonesome Dove.
