Yesterday, cable tv and internet were flakey, out most of the afternoon. I used my phone as a hotspot for a couple of hours and was blown away by the amount of data I used. Cable internet is unlimited so I never look at usage, I just pay the bill.
Last night, internet behaved and we watched ECU vs South Florida on ESPN+. Ran it through my Chromebook to the TV. Little quad core Pentium processor but it works fine for that and a lot of other stuff. Both teams have had serious covid-19 issues, but the Pirates caught theirs earlier and had more starters back. The campus at ECU is closed.
This morning, cable and internet are out of order again and I'm back to phone interface. We've had rain but no hurricane weather. I guess the coat hanger they used to splice a wire 10 years ago finally rusted through.
The inconvenience of modern life is maddening.
Yes. How inconvenient.?ÿ I am prone to sputter and say bad words when it takes 10 seconds to get some information to come up that would have either taken two days to access in the past or was completely unavailable.
