Well, 0200 hours ET Sat. morning lasting until around 0400.
This is a one-night-only event but suppose to be a big one.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned it yet.
It was gorgeous here this morning, but now overcast and misting rain. No meteors for me to night.
Up At 3AM EDT A Few Blips In One Hour
Only a few clear patches of sky.
Had I been up at 2 the sky was clearer.
Clouds from the North.
Paul in PA
Don't know about anyone else, but I didn't see squat.
I was hoping to see it, but it was pretty cloudy at 10;30 when I went out to look and check the conditions. I was going to stay up and see, but I couldn't see any stars at all.
I hate I missed it. It was supposed to be pretty cool.

Well Jimmy, it was plenty clear enough here I didn't see anything except Jupiter, Mars and Saturn. I started looking about a half-hour before right up until about 0400 and gave up. Doesn't seem like we missed anything this time.
The humidity was pretty high but I could still see plenty of stars so I figured I could at least a little something-something.
Maybe some other night time sky-watchers saw something. I didn't.
Perhaps we'll catch the regular Leonid shower in next year or so.
Thank goodness it wasn't the Ort cloud lest we be in serious trouble! 🙂
