This is a 12" sliding, dual bevel, compound miter saw.
Wife got a new LG range which cost more than twice as much so fair is fair, right?
I think this saw will silence the table saw a lot of the time. I have a super fine 10" 80 tooth blade (DeWalt) for the table saw which is a joy to use, smooth, sharp and makes a nearly perfectly smooth cut. A friend told me the stock Makita blade is excellent already.
I have a 7-1/4" Makita worm drive which is a very smooth saw.
My current compound miter saw is a cheap 10" Ryobi which works but it is difficult and time consuming to use accurately.
