Somebody had to be declared the winner, and Nick Sabin said it is not going to be Alabama.
It was painful to watch every time Alabama was in a crucial situtation, Sabin made the absolutely wrongest call possible.
If possible the Alabama football team is worthy of a rematch with LSU, Sabin, however, is not.

?????
It looked pretty decisive to me, as far as the win. Two great teams that played their hearts out, and yes, Sabin lost the game by coaching mistakes.
LSU and the Mad Hatter need no asterisks next to the big W, earned every bit of it.
Roll Tide, War Eagle, and go Braves!
Well, I can only go so far as to say LSU did not win that game, Alabama lost. They had more then enough chances to put points on the board and did not get it done.
But I am also thinking, after seeing the fans after overtime, maybe they should change the team name to the "Alabama Crimson Cried".
If there is a rematch it is not going to be in Alabama, so that turns the advantage to LSU, I am sure there are about 100,000 people in Tuscaloser this morning that can't speak from soreness.

yeah well.... they sure blew it in the final month didn't they.
Let's hope Chipper sticks around and quits getting hurt.
What do you reckon Jr. will do in the race today? I'm not looking for anything great but he did get his first win at the Texas track.
good night here
we had the doors open.
Dips, great salad from our neighbor friends. romaine, tomatoes, honey glazed pecans from our yards, dried reraiins and cranberries with a tastylvinagarette dressing,
big pot of chicken-andouille gumbo with louisiana rice. add you own hot sauce, some said it wasn't needed. I always disagree. 😉
french bread local beers , red wine good talk good friends and neighbors.
as for the game , I thought it was a real dog fight...both players and coaches.
both coaches countepounched each other well but it was Miles in the end that got the decision for coaching talking points.
The Morris Claiborne Int in the 3rd was the big play for me. He does it week after week.
"Chief Chavis" got the game ball and that was a very good call by Miles
I will always fondly remember many a weekend in Houma with LSU on Saturday and the Saints on Sunday, too many good parties within walking (or staggering) distance of my rental house. Just as you say, walk the neighborhood and BS with everyone in the front yard, then settle in for the game, then hit the streets again for the afterparty.
