VERY neat view with commentary describing what you're seeing by the guy who is filming it. His cyber name is Astronut. It's WAY cool. OR, go outside and and look at it with your scope. With it being so close to the nearly full Harvest moon, it's a sight to see. In the stream you can clearly see the shadow of one of it's moons passing in front of it.

The stream is no longer available. It seems there was a copyright infringement issue.

Yeah, I tried to edit my post to say I'd found the same problem when I tested the link. I had it hidden on my screen and I couldn't get it to come back either. Damned computers. 😛 I found it on a woo woo site. Oh well, just go out and look at it for yourself. Between it being so close to us and the Harvest moon there's an awesome sky out there tonight.

Take care,
Ed

It does. This is REALLY funny because this is/was the latest page to to the thread on this forum where I found the stream by this Astronut dude. I wish more people could have seen it. Least this proves I'm not crazy.:-)

So, get out there and look at that sky!

Take care,
Ed

LOL

From your link Ed.

"...apparently someone copyrighted Jupiter."

It's still light here, but if the earth keeps rotating normally, we should get a good look here in a couple of hours.;-)

Well dang it I wanted to see that live stream!

Maybe I will go outside with my Google space app on my DROID and find it. This app is COOL!! Wendell got me hooked on it. Not sure how it does it but it finds all the stars, planets, sun, etc... in space and you can see where they are by where you point the phone. :star:
