Our 9 year old made allstars, so this will be our first season of hopefully many, that we will be carting our son off to play baseball over this Fourth of July weekend and through the following week for regionals. If we make through next week, there is a potential run at state the very next week. Fun stuff! Have a great 4th!

Congrats to your boy. My son is in his last year of LL, and it's been a great time for all of us. He, too, was picked as a 9-year-old for the 9-10 All-Star team, which later that year merged with another All-Star team to become the travel team he's been playing with ever since. It's been a bit challenging this season trying to manage his schedule playing on both travel and LL (now 11-12 All-Star) teams, but it's sure been fun!
