Wendeany another forum I subscribe to has a section to post tests which then get automatically wiped after a day.

Anyway, I'm just testing.
I see from a couple recent plays here when I insert a :totalstation: or sny

Well that was by way of saying, all goes well, Wendell, until I try to insert any of those smiley faced whatevers.
Then the text insert place gets really messed with.
I'm on my Samsung tablet using SwiftKey keyboard.
Just mention that as Samsung Notes don't interact at best of times on some Web sites.
I've persevered with standard site, not gone the Tapatalk way. Some of the comments here and on that site put me off.

Anyway. I wonder if there's a hiccup with that group of icons that disrupts text flow in Tablet use?

Actually, if I keep away from that area it seems to work well.
Edit: Not sure if you've tweaked something, or it was my initial testing of all the flavours that made things go array.

Regards Richard

This original post deserves a followup.:gammon:
This is more than a followup as I've also played about with this as I type.

I've never been impressed with Samsung's Note 10.1 ability to handle web sites.
I'd tried Samsung keyboard and Swiftkey, and a couple of others, but none gave any relief.
The text would jump about and skip back a line or more, ending up anywhere.
I decided to put my Tablet back to factory and start again.
It was business as usual. Hopeless.
I then installed Thumb keyboard and Eureka!
I can type, edit and insert and it just keeps on keeping on.
Just to prove the point I set Samsung as default, and my woes returned.
:plumbbob:
(Strangely, for some reason the old site was not so cantankerous when using this tablet. But I can only say I don't want to go back, and probably wouldn't have found the solution if this new site hadn't rolled into being.)
