The 2 flags on the stick are 3 ft apart. There is very little taper in this pin oak, as it goes up. It is maybe 30 ft to the first branch.

Just a cool tree!

Then, we had some company. The zebra was curious, but tried to bite. I cannot recomend this guy as a pet!

They just can't seem to find that elusive Ivory Billed Woodpecker in Arkansas yet Nate found a Zebra.:-|

Don't mess with zebras. They may look like gentle horses, but, they are wild animals with lots of wild instincts present. They can actually bite your arm off. My rodman owns several of them. He gives them plenty of room and is always on guard when they are near. Especially the males if one of their 'ladies' is 'in the mood'.

Sorta reminds me of the momma and baby deers and what happens if one gets in the way of her vision path to her baby. It isn't a pretty site and who woulda thunk a sweet momma deer could do such damage?! Yikes!! :-O

I like the comment on the subtense bar... I did that so you could see how big that tree is. Really big.
