Derek, know your state laws! The land tenure system of Ontario has no application to the allodial title lands that are the subject of this haymaker in Wisconsin. Clearly, this is a case where the record description is faulty and must be corrected! Personally, I hope that the corrected description won't dip down into Texas, but will stay lodged pretty much in that Wisconsin County. Once it is recorded in the Miscellaneous Records, though, that is pretty much it! Remember, case law is just the legal system's admission of ... stuff.
