An unnamed bettor bought two tickets at the Vegas MGM Sports Book back in September, and now holds winning tickets totaling $375,000.
Yahoo Sports reported that the person bet the Cards would win both the National League pennant and the World Series, putting $250 down on each.
The Cardinal's NLCS win gave the winner $125,000.
Now, the World Series win will make him an additional $250,000.

Reminds me of this guy at the bar on Fri night. He and I were watching intensely...but HE was watching because HE bet $3000 that the Rangers would win, and apparently bet per game!! SO he was already teed off about the Rangers losing the night before. Then as the Cardinals kept pulling ahead, he got more mad, (and drunk!) and kept telling me "F St. louis, F the Cards, cheaters!!" etc...
I reminded him that the Rangers were my 2nd favorite team and he'd chill out a little, but...by the time the game was over it was just about time to boot his ass out of the bar!! :-O
He was trying to distract me during the last out but another guy came up to him and told him to chill and let her enjoy this, she's been a VERY good sport about the entire game. He apologized to me later, (drunk as hell), but then got one more F St. Louis jab in. LOL!! Didn't bother me one bit!!! 🙂 MY BOYS had already won. :clap:
