I got sidetracked and then detoured on a google search late one night and came across this early John Ford silent film. I think it was 1924.
Anybody ever se it?
Nice poster and interesting story line.

Looks kind of cool. They should re-make it. I'll never get the wife to sit through a silent film about surveying.

looked like it has a few interesting plot twists. Two finger renegade, hooker heroine and Italians on strike.
The scalping of the surveyor by the two fingered white renegade stirred interest.
